UCF Athletes Participate in Youth Sports Festival

Numerous UCF student-athletes donated their time and knowledge to the community during the annual Youth Sports Festival held Saturday on UCF's campus. The event was hosted by the UCF Alumni Association and featured mini-clinics in which younger children were able to interact with student-athletes and learn more about their sports.
"We enjoy this event every year. These kids look up to us and being able to spend time with them and have fun means a lot not only to them but to us," said D'Nay Daniels.

UCF women's basketball signee Aarika Judge, one of three prep standouts to sign National Letters of Intent (NLIs) to play collegiately for head coach Joi Williams and the Knights this fall, was recently named The Augusta Chronicle Georgia girls basketball player of the year.

Judge, a senior at Hephzibah High School, averaged 17.6 points per game this past season and tallied six rebounds, six assists and six steals per game. She also made 86 three-pointers in 2009-10.
